Question 1

What is Resume.win?

Accepted Answer

Resume.win is a job-application loop, not a resume-template zoo. You finish one Apply Kit per job — tailor resume, ATS check, cover letter, mark Applied — then share an Apply Pack and log replies, screens, and offers.

Question 2

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Score a posting on the free ATS checker (no account), then Save as Apply Kit. Sign up is 1 full kit free, no card. First-run is only that kit — CRM and mock interview wait until you finish it.

Question 3

Do I need an account to see my ATS or match score?

Accepted Answer

No. /ats-checker, /job-matcher, and /resume-score show the full heuristic result before signup. Shared /s/ and /m/ cards stay teaser-only. Save as Apply Kit when you want to tailor and track the outcome.

Question 4

What is an Apply Kit vs an Apply Pack?

Accepted Answer

Apply Kit is the work you do on one job. Apply Pack is the shareable link of what you submitted — so a coach, referral, or friend can review the exact kit. The pack page works logged-out.

Question 5

How do you measure proof? Do you guarantee interviews?

Accepted Answer

We do not guarantee interviews or invent reply rates. Signed-in users see private version comparison when two resumes each have enough logged outcomes. Public aggregates on /proof stay hidden until there are about 25 kits and 10 outcomes.

Question 6

Do you generate cover letters from templates?

Accepted Answer

No. Cover letters are written from one live job description inside Apply Kit — after you tailor the resume, before you mark Applied. Skip the letter when the posting forbids it. See /cover-letter.

Question 7

What should I do after I mark Applied?

Accepted Answer

Log the outcome (reply, screen, offer, or silence), set a follow-up date on that job, and keep applying. The job tracker is the CRM after Applied. Method: /guides/what-to-do-after-you-apply.

Question 8

How is Resume.win different from Jobscan or Teal?

Accepted Answer

Jobscan is a fit-score. Teal is a tracker-plus-extension suite. Resume.win finishes Apply Kit on a live JD, then tracks outcomes after Applied. Honest comparisons: /compare. We do not invent interview odds.

Question 9

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes — sign up free and run 1 full Apply Kit with no credit card. Paid plans (Starter, Interview Pro, Coach) require a card at checkout via Stripe. Cancel anytime from billing settings.

Question 10

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Security is a top priority. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and vetted processors (e.g. payments, AI, email, hosting) under contract. We do not sell your personal information. See our Trust Center and Privacy Policy for details, and use Settings to export or delete your data.
