Proof, not vanity scores
How we measure what works
Resume.win is built to compare the kit you sent — not a generic resume score. We only publish numbers we can defend.
Two-version comparison
Signed-in seekers see a version comparison on the dashboard when two resume versions each have at least two applications with a logged outcome. That view is private. It is not a public case study.
A named two-version case (Version A vs Version B, with reply or screen rates) will appear on this page only when we have written permission and enough applications on each version. Until then we will not invent rates.
Live aggregates
We are still in the founding cohort. Public totals stay hidden until there are at least 25 finished Apply Kits and 10 logged reply / screen / offer outcomes. That avoids padded floors.
Aggregates are anonymized counts — no names, companies, or resume text. ATS “lift” on the homepage is a heuristic vs a weak baseline, not a guaranteed interview rate.
What we will not claim
- Guaranteed interviews or “X% more offers.”
- Homepage quotes as verified testimonials without permission.
- A public A/B case built from one user’s private dashboard.
Proof means logged outcomes, not a vanity score
This URL is for people who want to know how we measure. Rank it for proof, outcomes, and “do you invent rates?” Do not treat it as a resume-builder landing. The builder is /resume-builder. ATS fit is /ats-checker. This page is the measurement contract.
A high ATS number is coverage against one JD. It is not an interview prediction. Homepage “lift” vs a weak baseline is a heuristic, not a guaranteed callback. The number we care about after you apply is whether that version got a reply or a screen.
Career centers and coaches should send people here when they ask for a placement rate. The honest answer is: we do not have one to sell. Students and clients can log outcomes. We will not write a first-destination flyer for you.
When public numbers stay hidden
Live aggregates on this page stay hidden until there are at least 25 finished Apply Kits and 10 logged reply, screen, or offer outcomes. That avoids padded floors while we are a founding cohort.
When the floors are met, you will see anonymized counts — kits completed and interview-adjacent outcomes. No names, companies, or resume text. If the floors are not met, we say so instead of inventing a bigger number.
Do not screenshot a private dashboard comparison and treat it as a public case. A named Version A vs Version B story appears here only with written permission and enough applications on each version.
What a two-version case requires
Two resume versions. At least two applications with a logged outcome on each. The same person, or an agreed cohort, not a mash of strangers. That is the private dashboard rule. The public page is stricter: permission plus enough volume that a rate is not a coin flip.
Until those exist, this page stays a method, not a trophy wall. That is intentional. Resume products that lead with “X% more interviews” are usually selling a number they cannot defend.
If you wanted testimonials without permission, look elsewhere. If you wanted a place that explains the measurement and waits for real volume, this is the page. Finish a kit, log the outcome, and come back when the aggregates unlock.
How to use this page
- Finish one Apply Kit. Tailor, ATS-check, cover, mark Applied on a live posting. Proof starts with a submitted kit, not a vanity score.
- Log the outcome. Reply, screen, offer, or silence on that version. Unlogged applications cannot teach you or us anything.
- Compare versions privately. When two resume versions each have enough logged applications, the dashboard can compare them. That view is not a public case study.
- Ignore marketing percentages. We will not publish interview guarantees. Public totals appear only after the founding-cohort floors are met.
FAQ
- Does Resume.win publish interview or offer rates?
- Not as a marketing guarantee. Public totals appear only after enough finished kits and logged outcomes. We will not invent an “X% more interviews” claim.
- What is a two-version comparison?
- A private dashboard view when two resume versions each have enough logged applications. It is not a public case study until we have permission and volume.
- Why are the live totals hidden?
- Founding-cohort floors: 25 finished Apply Kits and 10 reply/screen/offer logs. Hidden is more honest than a padded floor.
- Is the ATS score on the homepage proof I will get a screen?
- No. ATS is keyword fit vs one JD. Homepage lift vs a weak baseline is a heuristic. Proof is the outcome you log after Applied.
